CARTA is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to ensuring the healthy development of all young people, specifically youth of color. While CARTA chooses not to operate as a direct-service organization, we support those efforts and encourage adults in schools, community organizations, health agencies, workplaces, and other environments to engage young people, encourage their leadership, and nurture their ability to be productive members of society.
Mission: To promote the safe and healthy transition of youth to adulthood by building the capacity of youth-service providers and striving to transform the systems in which they work.
