Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
I've been in practice in Maryland since 1982.
What is your primary product or service?
I provide help for people in distress. As a psychologist, I analyze people's problems and help clients help themselves through them. I listen, I talk, we communicate and, as a team, work together to improve the situation. I provide psychotherapy, counseling, psychological evaluations, and coaching for individuals, couples and families, With over 30 years experience in the field, I have a longitudinal perspective that helps my interventions be most effective.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As an undergraduate college student, psychology fascinated me. I love the almost instant intimacy that is created when I am consulted by patients in need and feel honored to be allowed into your lives to share difficult situations and help you navigate through them.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Becoming licensed as a psychologist implies a high degree of professional education and experience. All psychologists are bound by the same code of ethical conduct and the requirement to put the patient first. Not all psychologists, however, have over 30 years of clinical experience under their belts as do I.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
One location in Towson but I am available for telephone consultations and coaching from any telephone.
