How long have you been in business?
Marco Enterprises, Inc., was incorporation in the state of Maryland on September 8, 1998.
What is your primary product or service?
Marco specializes in government facilities - renovations, repairs & rehabilitation, such as: interior and exterior, building additions, office retrofitting and design/build projects with the experience and expertise to perform construction management, fencing, electrical, site repairs, waterproofing, mechanical, security upgrades, roofing, road paving, electrical & mechanical maintenance, concrete, environmental and many other general construction services.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
By working at NASA with Prime Contractor, I had the opportunity of working with several Mechanical and Electrical Engineers within the Facility Rehabilitation System Division. There I was able to learn a lot about construction, the administration and financial aspects, and after several years, I decided to launch my own construction company.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Marco Enterprises, Inc. is a Woman Owned general contractor, who recently graduated from the SBA’s 8(a) Program. Eligible to participate in competitive bids and bids under the SBA DBE Program. Marco has 35 full-time employees, bonding capacity of $20 million and an excellent on time and safety records. Marco has Top Secret Security Clearance and Design/Build capability, which helps us to differentiate ourselves from other businesses.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have one (1) location. Previously, we had another location in Philadelphia, PA but the contracts were completed. While we only have one (1) location, we continue to work within the Metropolitan area (Washington DC, Maryland & Virginia), as well as in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Delaware.
