How long have you been in business?
Beth Am Synagogue was founded on Shabbat Hannukah in 1974.
What is your primary product or service?
We are an urban, egalitarian congregation affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, located in the historic Reservoir Hill neighborhood of Baltimore City. Beth Am balances traditional prayer and learning with innovative and intellectual critique.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We strive to be, in Isaiah’s words, “a house of prayer for all peoples”. Our roughly 400 member-households come from a wide range of backgrounds. Beth Am’s warmth, its open embrace of children, and its pluralism make it a place so comfortable that many members say it “feels like home”. We invite you to learn more about us.
